Marshall has spent over 10 years in the Houston small business community as an owner/partner. Prior to The Proverbs Group and Optimum Security Professionals, Marshall was the principle owner of Cruise Control Valet, a role he now shares with wife Shaunta’.

Before entering the contract security industry, Marshall was responsible for overseeing operations and administration of Cruise Control Valet. Under his leadership, the parking management company has served many of Houston’s top businesses and personalities such as Houston Modern Luxury Magazine, Texas Southern University and State Representative Ron Reynolds.

Prior to his business career, Marshall served as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at a local church for 4 years. He also worked as a paraprofessional at Houston Independent School District and a behavioral specialist at Fortbend Independent School District.

Marshall also studied education and business at Texas Southern University where he was a member of the National Scholars Honor Society and captain of the Political Science debate team 2005. He is presently pursuing a number of security and safety industry related certifications from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and ASIS International.

With over 30 years of Law Enforcement experience Marshall P. Isom is a recognized crisis management and public security specialist, who offers the optimum fusion of counter-terrorism, customer service and formidable leadership experience. As Vice President of Peace Officer Relations, Isom is responsible for the recruitment, coordination and placement of off-duty peace officers and the organizational development and management of OSP’s Executive Protection & Investigations division.

Marshall retired from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office as a Master Peace Officer in 2009 and now serves the Sheriff’s Office as a contract deputy. During his exceptional law enforcement career, Marshall received commendations from FEMA, Harris County Citizens Corps, Texas Gang Investigators Association, Sheriff’s Association of Texas and the Office of the President of the United States.

Marshall graduated from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department Academy in 1982 and holds a degree in Business Management and Psychology from St. Paul’s College.

Mark has been a licensed attorney in Texas since 1999. He has worked on both sides of the bar – representing plaintiffs in cases involving employment law, contract disputes, personal injury claims, and other legal matters and businesses as general counsel.

Since 2004, Mark has represented Harris County Emergency Corps (“HCEC”, formerly Harris County Emergency Services District No. 1), a premier EMS agency in Southeast Texas. During that time, he served as Vice President of Administration and General Counsel for the organization of 200+ employees and volunteers and serving more than 400,000 residents of Harris County, Texas. Since returning to private practice, Mark has added a number of small businesses to his growing practice, including Manvel EMS, Angleton Area Emergency Medical Services, Inc., Art & Kustom Kreations, the Wellness Integration Center, Deep South Builders, LLC, and more.

Mark is a graduate of Texas A&M University’s Mays Business school with an MBA, and University of Houston Law Center with a Juris Doctorate. He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), which exemplifies Mark’s expertise to help small and mid-size businesses with their employment-related legal and general business issues.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Michelle Graham Colombo aims to assist small businesses in maximizing their potential by utilizing her expertise in strategic finance and accounting.

Michelle attended Texas State University on a full scholarship and graduated magna cum laude with a double major in accounting and finance in just 3 ½ years. Prior to graduation she completed two internships and spent several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and UHY LLP auditing both public and private companies, benefit plans, non-profit organizations, internal controls and developing firm training initiatives.

Michelle applied all that she had learned in public accounting as she transitioned to the Oil & Gas Industry as the Assistant Controller and later Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis of a leading regional gas storage company. Most recently she served as the Chief Financial Officer of a fundraising company where she prepared financial statements, tax returns, managed human resources and saved the company tens of thousands of dollars each year by streamlining operations and procedures all while enhancing employee benefits. Both businesses closed on successful sales with the aid of Michelle’s projections, consultation and financial modeling.
